Tik1Click Pro (“the Extension”) operates with a strict data-minimization approach. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, emails, or general browsing history. We only process data strictly necessary forelta the Extension’s core functionality:
Anonymous Device ID: A randomly generated string (e.g., TIK1CLICK_…) stored locally on your device.
License Key: The activation code you manually input to unlock features.
Media URLs: When you actively click a download or preview button, the Extension reads the URL of the specific TikTok video, photo slide, or audio currently on your screen.
The Device ID and License Key are transmitted securely to our license management system solely to authenticate your access rights, track usage limits, and prevent license abuse.
The Media URL is processed strictly to extract direct video, photo, or audio download links at your direct request.
To fulfill its core downloading features and manage remote configurations, the Extension communicates with the following authorized domains:
Cloudflare Worker Servers (*.workers.dev): Used exclusively to securely verify your License Key, manage real-time permissions, and check usage limits. (Replaces legacy Google Apps Script)
GitHub Gist (gist.githubusercontent.com): Used solely to fetch dynamic remote configurations (such as CSS selectors and API endpoints) required for the extension to function properly when updates occur.
TikWM API (tikwm.com): A third-party API used to process the requested media URL and generate watermark-free download links.
TikTok & CDN Domains (tiktok.com, tiktokcdn.com, tiktokv.com): Accessed explicitly to detect media items, inject UI buttons, and fetch original media files to your local device only after you intentionally initiate a download.
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any external parties for marketing, profiling, or tracking purposes.
All communications between the Extension and the aforementioned servers are encrypted via standard HTTPS protocols. Your License Key and Device ID are stored securely within your browser’s local storage (chrome.storage.local) and are cleared if the Extension is uninstalled or reset.
By using the Extension, you consent to this Privacy Policy. The Extension only activates its network requests and triggers automation when you intentionally click the action buttons or interact with supported pages.
